Hi! I am Yashwanth

I’m a software engineer by trade. My current professional interests include

• Ad Measurement
• Solving problems using eventual consistency
• Batch and Stream processing
• Systems with high throughput/volume needs
• Systems with low latency needs

I currently work for Amazon Ads where work on their Ad Measurement products.

Here are some highlights of my time at Amazon so far -

• I was part of the team that delivered Consideration Metrics for advertisiers
• Enabled our Brand considetation metrics to comply with EU’s Digital Markets Act (DMA)
• Solved the problem of keeping our petabyte scale document data store up to date with global brand name changes. Utilized serverless compute to scale per demand and message queues to reduce blast radius in case of faulty data.
• Working on making Amazon’s brand metrics transparent by solving the Brand-homonym problem.
